In most cases, the filling is 100% sheep’s wool.

A Note About Fabric
The fabric sets the tone for the mattress and the furniture it complements.
We work with both classic mattress ticking and more refined designer upholstery fabrics.
For designer upholstery fabric, we need a sample, known in the trade as a swatch, before you purchase it. Testing the fabric lets us confirm that it is strong enough and calculate the yardage required before making begins. This step is essential to the quality of the finished piece.

Please tell us about any time constraints, especially when the finished furniture is part of a professional project, so we can do our best to accommodate them.

Thanks to a direct, short and local supply chain, sourcing materials has less effect on our lead times.

Refurbishment
We also refurbish old wool mattresses.
A wool mattress keeps its loft for 8 to 12 years, depending on use and storage conditions. When it is remade, we reuse everything that can be reused, especially the wool.
Refurbishing this type of mattress is part of a circular economy and makes its long-term cost more affordable than the initial price may suggest.
