I had my wool mattress restored and its matching box spring remade. I am very pleased with the result: soft yet firm, with a gentle, even warmth.

Wool is a 100% natural material sourced locally or nearly locally. It provides a softly warming feel.

A wool mattress can be recycled indefinitely by adding wool when needed and replacing the ticking. My mattress came from my parents, so its original wool is about 70 years old. It has been remade several times since.

The box spring was also very old and was completely remade.

This set is very comfortable and has greatly relieved my back pain.

The price is competitive when you consider the mattress’s lifespan of around ten years.
